Introducing DAM’s first DeFi NFT: Moonwalkers on Nebula 23
Moonwalkers on Nebula 23 is DAM’s first DeFi NFT.
NFTs enable people to come together around different rules, beliefs and interests.
We want to empower decentralised community building at the forefront of Web3.
We previously wrote about NFTs’ role in the future of work, and DeFi can learn a lot from NFT communities — how they co-create, build loyalty and execute fast.
NFTs can help scale DeFi communities in terms of engagement, access and badging.
As a result, DAM will introduce a NFT framework for its adopters.
Moonwalkers will have exclusive access to DAM’s communication channels alongside other benefits. Moonwalkers will also receive bonafide OG status.
This unique collection is created by overlaying multiple images of LeJokstr taking an imaginary stroll on the moon — we also reimagined the Jokers costume as a space suit. Two of the key images used to create this AI-generated NFT are:
- Nebula 23, which resembles a certain red smile — https://www.astrobin.com/413124/C/
- The ‘Moon Selfie’ — Neil Armstrong’s moon photograph of fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin created a reflection of Armstrong in Aldrin’s visor
Other notable features include the LeJokstr smile and “Space Taxi” eye.
