Curious about the powers of DAML but don’t want to download and install something you aren’t sure of? Intrigued by the simplicity of DAML but having trouble downloading installers in the office? Well now you don’t have to, the DAML WEB IDE is online! This is a playground for you to write and compile DAML, create and run interactive tests, called DAML scenarios, all from the comfort of your own browser.

(Remember, this is a playground. We delete your interactive environment every 45 minutes. Don’t rely on the persistence of the code you enter!)

Rich Editing and Real-Time Feedback

We’re offering the same powerful IDE experience as the VS Code DAML plugin, in fact, they are one and the same. This includes features like intellisense, code snippets, type-checking, go to definition, syntax highlighting, and more. All this, and you won’t even notice that you’re working remotely. No need to read any SDK or DAML Studio installation instructions, begin by reading the getting started with DAML section or go through the more comprehensive reference docs. Afterwards, come into the playground and try it out yourself.

Give me the goods!

If you like what you see, check out http://daml.com/ and download the SDK.
