1. Driver Training and Behavior

☐ Driver’s License Verification: Is the driver’s license current and appropriate for the vehicle type?

☐ Training Certification: Has the driver undergone company-approved safety training?

☐ Refresher Courses: When was the last refresher course taken?

☐ Drug and Alcohol Tests: Are regular and random tests being conducted? Are results documented?

☐ History Review: Has the driver’s accident and infraction history been reviewed in the last six months?

2. Vehicle Maintenance and Condition

☐ Brakes: Are they in optimal working condition?

☐ Lights: Do all lights (headlights, indicators, brake lights) function correctly?

☐ Tires: Are they inflated correctly? Do they show signs of wear or damage?

☐ Seatbelts: Are they functional in all seats?

☐ Mirrors: Are they clean, well-positioned, and undamaged?

☐ Horn: Does it work properly?

☐ Emergency Equipment: Is the vehicle equipped with a fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, and other emergency tools? Are they easily accessible?

3. Telematics and Technology

☐ Software Updates: Are all telematics devices, including those from Damoov, updated with the latest software?

☐ Data Review: Has the telematics data been reviewed in the last month for insights into driver behavior?

☐ Emergency Response: Does the telematics system have an emergency response or panic button feature? Is it functional?

☐ GPS Functionality: Is the GPS tracking in real-time without significant lags?

4. On-Road Behavior

☐ Speeding: Any incidents of overspeeding recorded in the last three months?

☐ Hard Braking: Any patterns of hard or abrupt braking observed?

☐ Mobile Use: Any telematic indications of mobile use while driving?

☐ Scheduled Breaks: Do drivers adhere to mandatory break times?

☐ Route Adherence: Are drivers sticking to the pre-defined routes?

5. Communication and Feedback

☐ Communication Devices: Are hands-free communication devices available and in working condition?

☐ Feedback System: Is there a system for drivers to report road conditions, vehicle issues, or safety concerns?

☐ Incident Reporting: Is there a clear protocol for drivers to report any accidents or safety infractions?

6. Subcontractor Compliance

☐ Safety Training: Have all subcontractors undergone safety training?

☐ Vehicle Standards: Do subcontractor vehicles meet company safety standards?

☐ Telematics Onboarding: Are subcontractor vehicles equipped with telematics devices like Damoov? Have they been trained to use them?

7. Emergency Protocols

☐ Contact Lists: Are emergency contact lists available in all vehicles and updated?
