For years, I’ve been interested in and exploring various ways to reduce the effects of aging and increase longevity.

I decided to create a series of pieces that address various aspects of aging and longevity, providing many tips that can help people have a disease-free, ever-feeling life. In this particular piece, I’m going to speak about different approaches and tips to achieving lasting health.

According to Charles Bollmann, a Founding Member of American Holistic Medical Assn.

I’m 42 years old, but most people guess my age is significantly younger. Genetics aside, this is my advice:

Sleep—Try to get 8 hours of quality sleep a night. I’m a light sleeper, so I wear an eye mask and earplugs to keep out distractions.

1. Eat well — I try to eat more fish and occasionally red meat than chicken. Try going vegetarian for a while. Limit processed food. Don’t be afraid of good fats. Eggs are your friend.

2. Poop — I drink enough water, exercise, and eat enough fiber to poop at least once every day. When that routine is messed up, it shows on my skin.
