Imagine how you will feel;

If you see your beautiful neighborhood,

the place of memories with your loved ones of little skycraper,

turn into a land of debris and ashes overnight.

The park you used to roam around filled with flora and fauna,

turn into buried ash overnight.

Your place of delight the playground with swings and seesaws,

turn into burnt iron rods overnight.

Your loved ones and your family and friends,

the ones who used to be your sources of strength and happiness go missing day by day,

you have to go to the mortuary,

to identify the dead bodies of blood and gores.

You no longer have the freedom of choice when it comes to the ample supply of food and water from the supermarkets and local vendors,

and all that is left is to wait in line for the loaves of bread and buckets of water.

Your school, a place of educational growth is no longer there,

and only the debris with shattered glass scattered around is there.

Your source of comfort of the cozy bed to sleep in at night which you cherished is missing,

and all that is left is the sheet at the corner of the crowded muddy tent.

May the eyes open of the ones who should,

to end the worry, the burden, and all the grief,

to live peacefully as they once were,

with peace of mind in happiness.
