It tells how warm-hearted you are. It shows your morals. Sometimes you don't need to be pushed to say thank you; you should just let it flow from your heart. No matter what we receive, we need to say thank you.

Just you saying a simple "thank you" means a lot. Being appreciative gives you a feeling of satisfaction and even makes you feel accomplished. Even to the person you appreciate, it makes the person feel satisfied — it makes the person you appreciate want to do even more for you. Just a simple "thank you" has taken some people to greater places today.

THANK YOU: A Very Powerful Tool

Don't joke with it. No matter what you receive, even if it's little or big. You need to be thankful even if you don't like the gesture; at least somebody went out of their way to get you something.

Being appreciative helps you build more and even stronger relationships. When you learn to be thankful or when you appreciate people, it helps you build real connections with them. It increases the positive aura and gives you joy. Just try and learn to be thankful.

Be thankful for your time and the time you spend with people. Most people have a lot to do — maybe you fell ill, and they left whatever they were doing to come visit you, why don’t you just tell them thank you? They are not entitled to it, they just felt concerned for you, and that was why they went out of their way to help you or please you — without expecting anything in return. Learn to be thankful to them because such kinds of people are very rare.

WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THANK YOU TODAY?

Whatever gift you receive, learn to be thankful for it, whatever service that is being rendered to you, learn to be thankful for it, even if you are a boss at the office, and maybe it’s the duty of your workers to do some sort of work, you don’t need to ignore them or become rude to them; appreciate them for their service rendered. Don’t you like being appreciated? They too, also like being appreciated.

As for me, I like being appreciated, and I also appreciate people too. I love it — it has helped me to see the bright side of life and not take it too seriously so that I wouldn’t die of heartache.

If you are thankful for the little things, it shows that you can be thankful for the bigger things to come.

Wrapping up

It is said that; charity begins at home. I urge parents/guardians to instill in kids, the importance of gratitude and kindness. No matter how old the child is, you need to teach them how to say 'thank you' because it is very important in their lives.

Appreciate yourself, Appreciate those who helped you, Appreciate those who didn’t help you, Appreciate your family, Appreciate your friends, Appreciate your enemies, Appreciate what you have now, Appreciate what is to come, Appreciate your past, Appreciate your future, Appreciate life, Appreciate everything and anything, and FINALLY, Appreciate GOD.

PS: I sincerely thank every one of you for taking the time to read to the very end. Wishing you peace, love, and blessings always!
