You may have heard the stories from friends and fellow bloggers…

“Years ago, I made thousands of dollars every month with my blog. But then Google changed an algorithm, and all went away overnight.” That sounds familiar, right?

It happened to big businesses as well.

Ezine Articles were doing so well, helping writers. Making money. Then Google changed things for them.

Today, they no longer exist.

Just like Squidoo ceased to exist after Google changes. And if big companies like them can suffer… What about a little blogger?

Is it still worth it to you?

Can you be at the top of the world one moment, ruling your blog like a king or a queen, and in the next, you’re cut down by a change nobody saw coming?

You could.

But there’s an easy way to avoid disaster.

You Have Inner Qualities

Use them.

A few weeks ago, I went through an expensive Pinterest course. Like $300 or $400 expensive. I’d used Pinterest in the past, but wanted a better strategy.

So I learned the strategy.

But it felt weird. Uncomfortable. As if something was wrong with what I did.

And yet, I double-checked.

Yes, I had done everything correctly. This was Friday, so I felt comfortable going into the weekend, relaxing 100%. Monday morning, I couldn’t log into Pinterest.

My account was suspended.

I got it back within a couple of hours. They said it was a mistake. Maybe.

But I think the real mistake had been to do something I was uncomfortable about.

I should have listened to my gut feeling. I should have trusted my inner qualities. As should you.

Google, Pinterest… It Doesn’t Matter

If you do things wrong, even things you learn from established teachers, you’re out.

And if something feels kind of shady, there’s a chance it is a kind of shady. Don’t do it. Trust your inner guidance more than the outer in this case.

Then there’s really so little risk.

You can’t start many offline businesses by investing less than $100. You can start a blogging business. And you should be able to make that investment back within three to six months.

So yes, Google or Pinterest can take it all away from you.

But only if you’ll let them. And you won’t, right? Becoming a blogger can be a great experience.

And you have more to win than to lose.
