Fragmented intentions
can’t get along
I must be right
you are just wrong

Losing ourselves in
an oversight
until we see there’s
no need to fight

Building bridges
connecting lost lines
open ravines
cutting deep ties

Building bridges
hearts mend both sides
meeting between
in compromise

Reciprocal healing
have to admit
we both are flawed
in this conflict

Giving the love that we
want in return
together we can
begin to learn
