Combining DEP Photography Prompt and Weekly Prompt: Anything Goes!
DEP Photography Prompt for April 2023 and DEP Weekly prompt 27/52
At this time of the year, the IISER campus in Mohali, where my son studied is usually a gorgeous riot of greenery and flowering plants. The gardeners are busy at work, tending to everything. Summer showers surprise every once in a while and that’s when the peacocks come out, strutting, showing off their fabulous feathers, and dancing in the rain. If we’re lucky, they’ll even climb on top of cars and give us a proper show!
During the five years he studied there, I had the pleasure of visiting at least thrice a year — staying in the students’ hostel and enjoying eating with them. I’d have a lovely lazy week, walking around the campus, meeting people I knew, or strangers who eventually became friends. I have such wonderfully nostalgic memories of those years!
And now, I have more friends from his cohort than he does. Imagine!
I’ve clicked thousands of photos of their campus and its gardens and enjoy looking through them every once in a while. The photo you see above is one of my favorites!
So I am being clever and clubbing this week’s prompt and this month’s DEP Photography prompt.
And the prompt is:
ANYTHING GOES!
Go ahead. Take a pic of anything. Write about it. That’s it.
I know, right? Sometimes easy is what we need!
Just pick a photo from your albums.
