Did You Give Yourself Permission?
Or are you just playing lip service to your determination to change?
It doesn’t matter what you want to do in life; it helps first to decide (thumb up) to proceed.
Why do we have to give ourselves permission?
Mom, can I play on Mary’s trampoline? Mom either said yes (thumbs up) or no (thumbs down).
You have a job interview for the sake of getting a better job. To your surprise, they offer you the job. You didn’t really want it, but now it’s here. You go ahead and accept because it is right in front of you.
Use
There are so many times in life when you need to give yourself permission or decide that it’s an absolute no. It’s not a time for another, O.K., like you’re acknowledging without commitment.
If you think yourself a poor dancer, perhaps because you never gave yourself permission to be a great or just a better dancer, it’s up to you.
