Dropping Everything To Heed The Mountains Call

Yesterday after reading this article by Natalie Moulden I felt inspired and I felt the mountains call to me.

When I Hike I can Write.

So in a moment of spontaneity, my partner and I jumped in the car and drove to the mountains.

I feel the utmost gratitude that the mountains are only an hour's drive away and we stopped at a cute café for brunch where we decided on a trail and headed there for what we thought would be a simple hike.
