Easters Then and Now

Traditions must change with the times and circumstances

When I was growing up, Easter meant an Easter basket full of goodies — jelly beans (my favorite spring vegetable,) chocolate foil-covered eggs, marshmallow candies, and a chocolate Easter bunny with hard sugar eyes that made you feel guilty for eating him. We’d go to church, come home, and have a nice dinner.
