In the depths of your being, emotions reside,
An intricate tapestry where they coincide.
Be gentle with yourself, when life feels tough,
For it’s okay to feel, when the going gets rough.

Anxiety, tiredness, sadness, they may appear,
But they don’t define you, my dear.
They’re a natural response to life’s demands,
A sign that you’re human, with diverse strands.

Grant yourself permission to feel it all,
The highs and lows, both big and small.
Embrace your emotions, let them flow,
They’re part of the journey, as you well know.

When overwhelmed, take a moment to pause,
Rest, recharge, without any cause.
Show yourself care, compassion so pure,
Nurture your soul, your heart, and endure.

In this whirlwind of life, find a place,
To restore your peace, your inner space.
Give your mind and body the rest they seek,
Revitalize your spirit, gentle and meek.

Remember, dear reader, you’re not alone,
We all stumble, struggle, and at times groan.
But in these moments, strength is found,
As you rise, with resilience profound.

So be kind to your amygdala, my friend,
Embrace your emotions, let them mend.
For in your vulnerability, you’ll discover,
The power within, a light to uncover.
