I feel I am blessed to wake up to this gorgeous blue view of the sea in the morning as I sip my cup of chai and ponder over this and that. There was a little fair in the village nearby and the Ferris wheel added to the drama in the picture.

Little fishing boats out in the sea, a giant tree, and quaint houses on the beach. The little details make simple life so interesting. Like these two crows perched upon the window grill sharing a moment of quiet together. They shared nibbles of breakfast together and just sat there for some time.
I look at them and try to imagine what it might be like to be a bird. Our morning routine would be so different then. Not to mention the travel expenses, traffic woes, and all the fancy clothes and accessories that we humans are obsessed with.

As my mind wanders to a things-to-do list for the day I tell myself to just be. Sometimes doing nothing in particular and marvel the beauty of the mornings is more important than the things marked ‘important’. So much time is passed in this and that, and I try to hold just a few moments in between.

Thanks to the creative community at Dancing Elephants Press for so much food for thought and to all my kind readers here on Medium.
