Good Life Philosophy
A call to prioritize self-care
To have goals is good,
But no need to grind,
Overdoing is harsh.
Burnout is unhealthy.
People will keep winning.
Succumbing to envy is wrong,
Products will be churned.
Don’t be a slave to consumerism,
Our wants are bottomless,
Our bodies are vulnerable.
So pause and relax,
Without a tinge of guilt.
No need to keep buying
The lies of society.
We are here to
Witness the marvels of Earth
To gaze at the honeybees,
To listen to the wren’s melodies,
To see the cumulus clouds,
For stretching legs on the grass,
While humming tunes of joy,
Reflecting by the brooks.
