A poem some memories
In the twilight of the fading year
A time to reflect shed a joyful tear.
The clock strikes twelve a brand-new start
A canvas of hope a masterpiece of heart.
The old year departs whispers goodbye
Leaving memories like stars in the sky.
A journey of moments both bitter and sweet
Yet here we stand on a New Year’s feat.
The chime of bells the firework’s gleam
A melody of dreams like a vibrant stream.
Resolutions dance in the midnight air
Promises to keep with a newfound care.
Let go of sorrows embrace the delight
In the circle of time weave threads of light.
Tomorrow awaits a blank page unfolds
A story untold in the script of gold.
A chance to grow to love to learn
To cherish each step as the tides do turn.
Welcome the unknown with courage and might
As the New Year dawns in the soft moonlight.
Friendship and laughter let them prevail
Kindness and compassion let them set sail.
May your dreams soar high like a bird in flight
In the tapestry of joy find your pure delight.
So here’s to new beginnings to journeys untold
To the stories we’ll write as the days unfold.
