Tommy and his mom were busy in their sunny kitchen creating a rainbow salad. “Each color represents different vitamins that help us stay healthy,” his mom explained while slicing red peppers.

Tommy carefully added green spinach and yellow corn, enjoying the crunch and colors. “Eating well is like fueling a super engine!” his mom smiled.

They discussed how fresh foods keep their minds sharp and bodies strong. Tommy learned that cooking and eating healthy meals can be a delicious adventure and is an important part of caring for themselves. Making the salad became his favorite way to learn about health.
