Life is too short to accept negativity, average experiences, and anything that doesn’t align with your true self

In a world that spins so fast,
Where worries can consume and last,
Commit to your happiness, my friend,
Let negativity meet its end.

Surround yourself with souls so bright,
Inspiring stars that light your night,
People who uplift, inspire, and cheer,
Their presence brings you joy so clear.

Set boundaries, strong and true,
Against the drain that pulls at you,
Protect your mental well-being’s grace,
Embrace only what brings a smile to your face.

When the weight feels hard to bear,
Take a step back, breathe in fresh air,
Unplug, unwind, let your mind roam free,
Explore your thoughts, let your dreams be.

Life’s too short to settle for less,
Toxicity and mediocrity, they suppress,
Listen to your core, that voice inside,
Choose what feels right, let your heart guide.

Invite experiences that bring you peace,
Moments that make your soul release,
Let your smile shine, your heart be bright,
Ignite your fire, embrace pure delight.

So, my friend, go forth and seek,
The happiness you deserve, strong and sleek,
Commit, uplift, and cultivate,
A life that’s joyful, love-filled, and great.

Hope you liked the poem.

At night, ideas soar, no pen or phone. Strong inspiration, no need to fight. Repeat words, hope to remember. Desktop, thoughts rise. Acronyms forgotten. Next stroll, new ideas ignite. Every writer should read this inspiring post by Dancing Elephant author Vera-Marie Landi.
