Inspiration, Signals From Nature
In response to Dancing Elephants Press Prompt #9 of 52
🌟
Grow Strong! Glow Bright!
From Beneath! From Deep Inside!
Wherever you are!
Even if you are in a filthy place!
It’s our Inner Beauty that Glows!
🌟
Signals that Inspire
The Universe is listening to give you the answers you seek. But, have you prepared yourself and aligned yourself in line with the Universe to realize and receive its signals?
Like the one in the above image!
Take a closer look at the picture! Have you?
Another look! Observe!
Can you see the Glow?
It’s not photoshopped. Trust me, it’s original.
It was a pleasant morning and my husband and my son were out for a morning walk. I wasn’t doing good and so I didn’t join them that day. As they returned home, my son came running to me and said,
“Mom, you gotta see this…this…you won’t believe it!” and he showed me this picture on the phone. I went “AWE!” It was hard for me to believe too.
But, you know what? I was so relieved. It was like an assurance, a comforting message for us sent from Mother Nature saying “Don’t worry, everything is fine and you’ll keep glowing like a shining star no matter wherever you are and whatever you’re going through!” ’cause our situation at that very moment was so pathetic, and just the night before, I wailed looking at my mother’s photo and to Mother Nature.
At that point in time, we were literally living in a place like the horse dung, “even worse,” ’cause horse dung is so nutritious and can provide life to many species on earth and you have the proof 👆 It was a new apartment where we were living, but within a few months, the surrounding literally turned into a smelly garbage dump with the added luxury of a leaking wastewater tank pooling right near our balcony in the adjacent plot and in front of the main gate. Can you even imagine? I felt very sorry for the birds that rest there to take a drink and bath!!! You see what we humans do to this Beautiful Planet and its lives. When we planned to move out from there, it was the beginning of our great downfall and then the COVID outbreak and…We got stuck there for two more rough years.
But, amidst all the misery and “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” we still kept glowing more and more brighter from the inside and this image symbolized that. I thanked Mother Nature at that very moment with a smile and regained confidence.
I’ve shared a part of our life at that time, incidents that happened around that same time and in that place along with many other adventures in “Photograph! Bugs! Or An Evening Walk” published in Weeds & Wildflowers by Dennett.
The story speaks about the tiny little creatures that we can notice and appreciate by slowing down a bit in our daily lives and observing our surroundings. Also, a more significant part of it speaks about how we turned our life’s challenges into opportunities.
Observe and Learn From Nature
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” — Albert Einstein
I love this quote. I don’t know how many times in life I will use this. I have been using it for more than a decade now and I don’t find a better replacement. It’s the naked truth and we have to admit it.
Kids are great observers and they learn more from Nature and the surroundings and also from us, more by observing than what we teach them. We all know this, but are we forgetting something here? “Weren’t we kids once?” It’s only that this precious gift slowly fades away as we grow and we add a curtain to our lens and get carried away with our busy life. It’s buried deep inside of us and we have to dig deep and clear the haze, change the angle of our lens a bit to change our perspective.
One day, during our evening walk, my son spotted this beauty and came running toward me with wonder. Look at the plant in the above image! How much struggle the plant would have gone through to grow on a bitumen road? But, because of its challenges, the roots grow deeper, wider, and stronger to sustain and thrive. It cannot be pulled out so easily. Do you need any better example than this? The more challenges in life, the stronger we grow.
Inspiration is freely available everywhere in Nature including us, humans. But the only thing is we have to be open and aligned with Nature to even notice and recognize this.
Inspiration from Stream Water
Have you spent time alongside a stream? Have you gazed at the flowing water and tried to understand what it’s trying to teach you? In my article, “What’s Your Life Like,” published in ILLUMINATION (Illumination),
I have used the flowing water in a stream as a metaphor for the flow of our life, and the inspiration we can get from the challenges faced by the stream water.
Inspire Others through Life Lessons
Doesn’t Nature include us, humans? Don’t we get inspired by each other? Now, it’s not only about getting inspired but also about inspiring others. The lessons we learned from our past life experiences could be an answer to many out there.
I’ve been an inspiration to many since my childhood, in school, and in life after. Even as a couple, we have done that so far to many of our friends and families by inspiring them by setting an example and also through counseling. People open up very easily and share even their very inner secrets the very first time we met, even strangers. My husband already being a professional in the field has many times shared instances like meeting someone during travel, sharing their very personal stories to his wonder. So, we aspire to continue this service throughout our life; it’s one of our purposes in life. Anything to make the world a better place!
It’s a magical world filled with wonders to get inspired from. The rhythm of Nature, sunrise, sunset, the night sky, wind, birds, trees, mountains, the idea behind innovations, tall buildings, is there an end?
Even the purest, innocent smile of a child is an inspiration. It lightens our hearts and energizes our minds. Don’t you agree?
For final thoughts, we all are here, writing to inspire someone. Aren’t we?
Spread Love! Spread Happiness!
