Let me explain what self-care means to you first!

Please read this like you don’t know what I’m saying and truly wish to learn.

Self-care is the practice of taking an active role in protecting one’s own well-being and happiness, particularly during periods of stress. Most people take BETTER CARE of their pets than themselves.

We tend to break our promises and ignore our body, mind, and soul. We take care of others more than ourselves. We don’t truly like ours because we have failed ourselves lots of times.

If you don’t take care of yourself, let me guess who will Mr Nobody. You will wake up every day and you can outrun yourself and everyone else might leave you.

When you start taking care of yourself, you might upset a lot of people because they can’t use you anymore and this ain’t good for them.

When you start loving yourself, you’ll wake up and exercise. You will start saying no to everything that ain’t you. Going through this fire hurts but you will out refined and purified.

Taking time for self-care can make you more productive. When you take care of yourself, you are better able to focus and perform tasks more efficiently.

Your relationships with others get better, because you love, respect, and value yourself now. Your relationship with family, friends, and colleagues will improve dramatically because you are becoming more patient, understanding, and compassionate.

Regular self-care activities will boost your mood and improve your overall mental health.

Self-care is a necessity and never a luxury.

And how can you enforce this into your life, I will give you a glimpse and let you do the other work. Because if someone teaches you a thing you tend to forget but when you learn yourself. It sticks longer.

  1. Make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation, whether it’s painting, reading, playing a musical instrument, or any other hobby you enjoy.
  2. Learn to say no to activities and commitments that do not serve your well-being.
  3. Ensure you get enough sleep each night.
  4. Physical activities like exercising regularly are a great way to relieve stress and improve your mood.
  5. Engage in mindfulness 🧘‍♀️ practices such as meditation, deep breathing or yoga. These activities can help you stay in the present.
  6. Eat a balanced diet that provides your body with the nutrients it needs to function optimally.
  7. Allow yourself to take breaks throughout the day. Recharge and refocus.

Take care of yourself.
