The art of creatively building a personal brand and life well-lived
The Formative Years in New Hampshire
Growing up in New Hampshire, the state’s defiant motto—Live Free or Die—partly shaped me. This motto wasn’t just words on a license plate—it was a mindset, a challenge, a whisper in the wind calling for independence, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of something greater.
My parents were entrepreneurial and hard-working, building their lives with their own hands. They had grit and hustle, and yes, they partied hard, too. That was the culture — work hard, play hard.
Even as a kid, I could sense the weight of it all — the highs and lows, the grind, the struggle, and the freedom that came with forging your path. As I experienced these things, I developed beliefs, biases, and stories I told myself.
All of this shaped how I saw the world around me. Overall, it’s been pretty good. Somewhere between watching my parents struggle late into the night as their business failed, I realized that success isn’t just about making money.
It’s about shaping reality through awareness, bending reality, owning your identity, making bold choices, and refusing to be caged by fear or convention.
