Why Do Art Fairs Attract So Many?

This past weekend my granddaughter and I attended the Riverssance Art Fair. It’s held every fall in a beautiful park overlooking the Mississippi River. Artists come from near and far to display creative pieces. It features high quality fine art with musical entertainment, food and wine.

Many artists are retirees who are free to explore a passion. Only juried artists can set up a tent to show their creative art. One highlight I enjoy is the ability to ask questions about their craft.

I enjoy expressing myself in artistic endeavors myself. Seeing the creativity of others is inspiring. Often I get ideas for future projects. One woman had pictures created out of wool and felt.
