You’re in This World but Not of This World
So say two of the world’s largest faiths.
You are a Spiritual Being having a Human Experience. You are not a Human Being having a Spiritual Experience.
Looks like not much difference at first glance but the difference is HUGE.
Let’s look back to when you began. Oh, oh! You can’t. Why not, you ask? Because you are a Spiritual Being living in a Spiritual Universe that is governed by Spiritual Law.
And as a Spiritual Being, you are eternal. Anything eternal does not have a birth or a death. Anything that is eternal simply IS.
The Oxford Languages Dictionary defines eternal as “Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning.
In The Bible, there are several mentions of eternal life.
John 3:15 “So that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.”
John 10:28 “And I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand.”
The Quran also mentions eternal life calling it “forever.”.
The Quran 2:82 states “And those who believe and do good will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever.”
