Could Opening Day in the MLB be postponed due to snow?

Opening Day in the MLB is one of the greatest days if you are a baseball fan. Every team is the same record and it is truly a fresh start, like a blanket of snow.

For some teams this March 29th the simile may be literal. The northeast is still getting snow showers from time to time and just last week MLB teams began posting photos of their stadiums covered with snow.

Teams like the Washington Nationals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Cincinnati Reds all took to Twitter to “share friendly reminders” that the season begins in just a few days.

The good news for Pirates fans is their team will be in Detroit for the opening weekend, and Cincinnati fans hopefully won’t need to bundle up as they host Washington with a projected forecast of 60 degrees and rain.
