If you have been hanging around the ‘dang-packs-general’ channel in Discord, in Twitch chat, or even some of the other Discord channels, chances are you have noticed the term Aeroglyphics mentioned. You may have even noticed emojis flying around at a more constant rate than usual. If you are confused by these terms or emojis then fear not as you are about to get an introduction to AeroGlyphics, what they are, where they came from, and how to read them.

What Are AeroGlyphics?

To put it simply, AeroGlyphics are emojis that are being used mainly to notify members of the DangPack trading community when a trade offer, message, or counter offer has been sent on dangpacks.com, the main site that hosts your collection of Digital Trading Cards in the 596 Community.

Where Did They Come From?

AeroGlyphics are named after the user that first implemented their unique emoji use into mainstream pack trading conversations. This user was none other than AeroEagle333, one of Dan’s moderators and one of the most active traders in the community. They quickly caught on as they were a fast, easy, creative and fun way to communicate in the trading scene.

How to Read AeroGlyphics

One of the best parts of AeroGlyphics is the creative and interpretive nature of it. Because of this sometimes it can be hard to decipher what the message is trying to convey. Thankfully, we are deep enough into the AeroGlyphic era that some symbols have risen to the top to take hold of some of the more common words used in pack trading. A basic structure has also started to take from to messages in this young and exciting language.

Now that you understand what AeroGlyphics are, we can review some common symbols that have adopted a universal meaning. It is important to note that everyone uses AeroGlyphics slightly different, and you should too!

Creative AeroGlyphic Usage

The greatest part of AeroGlyphics is the ability to be creative and have fun with them. On the next page you will find some of my favorite examples of AeroGlyphic usage. I hope you found this article enjoyable and informative and hope to see you at the trade market soon! And remember, as JayFelk puts it below…
