Community Proxies Explained
MurphMart by KevinTheGoose
Welcome to Community Proxies Explained, where we take a look at community-made DangPacks cards. We explore the card art created by the talented artists of The 596, as well as the meaning behind the various references found in their cards.
What Is In the Card Art?
The MurphMart card features the front of a simple fictional shop with an MM logo on it and some redacted names on the front. The door seems open and inviting, yet ominous at the same time.
Who Does This Card Reference?
This card references the legendary member of the DangCard trading community MurphyObv and the community’s constant referral to his DangCard library as “MurphMart.” Murphy also has been known to collect and trade for cards with ‘REDACTED’ authors, which contain words or contexts deemed to be less than savory.
What Extra Details Are There on the Full Art Card?
The full art card prominently features the silhouette of Cerso Yeet in the back of an open Brinks truck. This represents the prominent saying of “backing up the Brinks truck” to represent that a large trade offer is coming. We are to assume that Cerso Yeet is ready to offer Murph some seriously valuable cards for something in his collection.
