What’s in the Picture?

A spooky graveyard scene with several tombstones featuring identifiable logos, symbols, or other designs associated with well-known and liked games. Keen eyed readers will notice symbols from games such as Hades, Dead Cells, and Cult of the Lamb.

What Does the Quote Mean?

Dan has a tendency to get lost in a challenge, and while it makes for really good content, he does tend to leave a trail of unfinished or unplayed games in his wake. There are many games that Dan has said that he wishes we could get back to over the years, yet the games remain untouched in the graveyard.

Why Feature This Card Now?

In case you missed it, on April 13, 2023, Dan completed the Spelunky 2 7–99 challenge. That day, he closed the stream with, “chat, we’ll be live tomorrow. I don’t know what the heck we’re gonna play.” In moments like these, Dan could return to the graveyard to see if there’s anything he thinks he should exhume.

Wait, but Where’s…You Know…THE Unfinished Game? The One the 596 Have Been Clamoring After for Years…Where Is It?!

You didn’t think that card artist Danesykins would leave that out, did you? It’s in the full art! See below:

What’s That Taking Up Space Behind the Card?

That’s called a Centerpiece. All the cards are special, but some hit home for some people more than others. And when those people connect with a card they really like, they might wish to show it off. Centerpiecing a card could also increase its worth in trades with other collectors.

How Do I Get One of Those Fancy Centerpieces?

Centerpieces can be redeemed by either earning enough channel points (A.K.A. DangCoins) by watching the live stream or by redeeming a Free Centerpiece card. Redeeming channel points for a centerpiece can be done whether Dan is live or not and will cost 50,000 DangCoins. Redeeming a Free Centerpiece card can be done at any time once you have one of these cards in your possession. Be careful acquiring one though! Some traders can’t be trusted.

A gold variant Free Centerpiece card.

Dan, you seem to enjoy reading these on stream. If you’ve read this far thank you for all the awesome content and congrats again on 7–99!
