Motion Design

Along the way, have had opportunities to film and produce motion pieces. As an amateur videographer, I have found the motion space very exciting.

First stage of putting together a clip is your planning. A script was written and then I took the ideas to the storyboard. This required breaking the writing down into manageable size and then placing each below the frames of ideas. Using illustrator, I comped up each segment of the video shoot.

Next stage is filming against a green screen all of the actions, so that they could be separated out in the final output.

Finally I composed the green screen shots together in AfterEffects. Applied the music and finished the editing to produce the final video.
