HE LEFT FOR CHINA :-(

Yesterday was intense. I finally felt I had a productive day and I got a lot of work done but still I had the time to hang out with Johannes and Tomas for a few hours. When I was working they strolled around in Ueno Park for some hours. After lunch we went to Akihabara which is one of the many touristy areas you should visit if you’re around. The place is also called Electric Town and is packed with electric gadgets and also has some niche buildings selling everything from sex toys to anime. It’s quite an experience!

Akihabara — Electric Town

Yesterday Johannes left for Shanghai again. He’s an old friend from Eskilstuna who I got to knew through common friends. He’s currently working in Shanghai as an engineer and had a vacation for ten days which he spent in Taiwan and here in Tokyo — it’s not that expensive to fly between China-Taiwan-Japan-South Korea and som other Asian countries so if you’re staying for a longer time you should try to go for som weekend trips. I’m always super stoked about meeting old friends to catch up, especially when you haven’t met them for a few years and you know so many things has happened since last time. All the stories Johannes told me about corporate culture, the Chinese society and Shanghai made me super interested in the country and I can’t wait to go there. Like all other places and societies it’s different from home, and I kind of like difference. Places to see, people to know.

I ended last night with some more work before going to bed laaate. Now I’m done with this mornings work so me and Tomas are heading down town for some new adventures. Not quite sure where we’re heading but probably to the Emperors palace.
