Social Miner of the Hour Ep.04: Interview with Sicillian

“Social Mining revolutionizes the way we think about jobs”. This is the testimonial of Sicillian, starring the 4th appointment of the series Social Miner of the Hour. Every week, one of the most performant Social Miner introduces him/herself to the Community, telling personal and professional stories and experiences.
Christopher, whose username is Sicilian, comes from the Philippines, ranking in the top 6 on the DAOVERSE platform. In crypto for more than a year, Sicillian is currently working as CM, and of course, he is a Social Miner! Many are his aspirations for the future, one of them is to become the head of DAO Labs Philippines. What can we say? At DAO Labs, investing your time and skills, anything is impossible!
What do you think about Social Mining?
“For me personally, Social Mining is like a learn to earn, since some of the tasks that being assigned are unfamiliar to us because we came from different walks of life. I would say, it revolutionizes the way we think about jobs.”
For Sicilian is his first experience with Social Mining, but he did and continues to do a great job, fully understanding in just one week the functioning of the project and the platform.
What’s the secret to improving your skills and becoming a better Social Miner from your point of view?
“There is no secret to becoming a good Social Miner in my opinion. Keep in mind that every task should be completed with enthusiasm and love. Just remember, no submitted activity = no points.”
We like Sicillian’s attitude and it reminds us of a quote by Confucius: “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” We know that when someone loves the job he’s doing, he will surely succeed in doing it well! Then with time and effort, it’s easy to improve skills and become better more and more.
What’s exactly your role in the platform? Is there a particular task you have loved the most?
“Actually, it is not finalized what is really my role is since I’m thinking day by day about what will I choose, but my passion is making memes and at the same time writing articles. Hence, I feel more flexible than a normal user.”
What would you do to improve the usability of the DAOVERSE platform?
“I am hoping, that all plans in the roadmap will be hit. And there will be more partnerships that will help DAO Labs organically, I mean, not funding that came from VCs. Also, to expand and give programs to the Filipinos that would help them from many points of view. You can feel free to assign me any work for the improvement of DAO Labs, especially in the Philippines community.
