Welcome to DAOSquare’s Update! We are happy to share our accomplishments:
INCUBATOR
1.VentureDAO
(1)To verify the incubation mechanism and process for building a better incubator, especially the VentureDAO module, we conducted an experimental incubation. meTokens is our first experimental incubation project: DAOSquare helped meTokens, a program that under incubation, to complete their pre-Seed round of fundraising: https://news.daosquare.io/the-first-step-of-incubation-metokens-daa04709496b
(2)At the same time, we also started working on an incubation approach for earlier projects that don’t have a clear business plan: DAOSquare already provided the first 10K WXDAI to DAO-based RPG Ethermore through OVO Grants.
These two pilot projects validated our incubation logic and we gained new experience. We are applying this feedback to the incubator product design.
Now, we almost completed the design of the core mechanism of The fund management (VentureDAO) in the incubator system, as well as the technical solution. The development work will start in near future.
2.DKP
DAOSquare is building a point system DAO Kontribution Pool, or DKP for short, to accomplish the conversion of governance factors to governance rights. The close beta test to DKP is started. Here is a brief of DKP.
3.OVO GRANTS
We started a community public fund OVO Grants in June. OVO Grants received nearly 900 funding proposals made from the community: OVO Grants: A community-driven public fund
4.FARM
We are building an open FARM factory that all projects can use on their own without platform permits. $RICE FARM is Live now, duration of the first round is one month.
$RICE
DAOSquare has finished public sales through CCO, ITO, and IWO, the scheduled LBP was suspended due to unforeseen bad market conditions. We may restart at an appropriate time.
$RICE Contract Passes Security Audits of SECBIT Labs.
$RICE for investors will be distributed when VentureDAO goes live and starts to invest, for every project incubated, 1% of the corresponding $RICE will be released.
GOVERNANCE
1.ROADMAP:
DAOSquare published roadmap, Hatchbank, DKP will be released in the next six months, check out here.
2.PARTNERSHIP
We’ve built partnerships with DAOhaus, Loopring, Unlock and 3Box.
3.COMMUNITY AND TEAM
- We started the DAOSquare Family Call and Community Call that are held every two weeks to get closer to our community
- Two developers joined DAOSquare for product development
