ETHIndia Hackathon — DAOstack Bounties

Hello and thank you for your interest in the DAOstack Hackathon! We are offering a total of $3000 USD in ETH through the following bounties in the context of ETHIndia 2019. The hackathon will run from the 2nd to the 4th of August.

There will be a total bounty of 3000$. It will be allocated to 3 teams at DAOstack’s discretion by the end of the hackathon.

Gas Optimization Bounty

The goal of this bounty is to optimize gas usage for any of the following GenesisProtocol Contract methods:

• Vote
• Stake
• Execute

Submit document describing your findings and code as PR to DAOstack Infra.

To be eligible for reward, there should be a significant improvement in the gas usage and should introduce no or minimum attack surface.

Let’s get creative with DAOstack

Depending on why you want to launch a DAO, you may need to enable functionalities at one or more layers of the stack. You may work on say:

Arc — Introduce a new scheme and empower the DAOstack DAO to take actions that it currently cannot, for example:

• Rage Quit
• Identity contracts to hold rep and vote, e.g. Universal Login feature
• Enable DAO to DAO interaction using Generic Scheme
• Interact with others protocols e.g. Take/Give a loan on Compound, Dharma, Open CDP etc.

Dapp — Launch a DAO and create a new interface to it, for example:

• Analytic tools for a DAO: tools to view, set or predict budget/expenses/income
• Tax filing tool: Separate the DAO’s expenses/income and use it to fill a tax form
• Create a staking market: Build a bot that watches the proposal for tags of staker’s interest and brings it to attention

Unleash your creative side and play with DAOstack tools to build something that:

• Brings value to the DAOstack ecosystem
• Brings value to the DAOstack economy (i.e. Increase GEN usage)

Add features to Alchemy

Alchemy is the friendly DAO interface created by the DAOstack team. This is the DApp which is mainly being used to interact with the Genesis Alpha DAO and some other DAOs built on top of DAOstack.

Integrate any creative idea to improve Alchemy, for example:

• Integrate Uniswap widget for staking. Use any token to stake in Alchemy by converting it to GEN in a single transaction
• Visualize the statistical data in Alchemy
• Integrate 3box chat and decentralize the social profile of Alchemy users
• Interface for DAO to DAO interaction
• Enable pay period UI for Contribution Reward proposals with progress graph
• Enable proposal tags and proposal filtering based on tags
• Prediction bot that makes smart decisions about which proposals to boost
