Voltfang propels forward upon new funding
🌟 Exciting news! Voltfang raises 8M € in their Series A financing round! 🌟
🇩🇪 The German start-up raised 8M € to fund the development of their green battery storage systems. Taking electric vehicle batteries and repurposing them as battery storage systems, Voltfang is paving the way for a future with less C02 emissions.
Established in 2021, university friends Afshin, David and Roman got the idea for Voltfang when their camping car battery kept giving out and Roman’s father needed a storage system for his workshop. That’s when the three engineers came up with their concept of a green battery storage system. 🚃
♻️ Three years later, the co-founding trio has grown their team to over 80 employees and has won several awards for their innovations, including the Green Alley award in 2022. Voltang has provided their sustainable products to businesses like Aldi and McDonald’s, as well as large industrial plants, helping each of them to reduce costs and C02 emissions.
What’s next for this climate-tech start-up? Upon finishing this financing round, they will grow their team, continue developing battery storage systems that offer support for more European stores and plants, and strengthen their position in the market. Voltfang will work towards these initiatives while keeping its mission at heart: “enable a future with living.” 💚
Congratulations to co-founders Afshin Doostdar, David Oudsandji and Roman Alberti and to the whole Voltfang team! 🎉
