What a day!

Tuesday 23rd of June 2020 — a usual day at the office, with some pretty good news. Remember the raise of 110m€ by Back Market one month ago? Well, Tuesday, two more fundraising announcements gave us the exact same smile we had that day.
Let me tell you what happened:
6.41 — Turning on BFM TV and listening to Loïc Soubeyrand announcing its Serie C round (70m€) with Swile (ex-Lunchr). You can watch it here.
7.00 — Watching the Swile video full of good vibes over and over again!
8.30 — Arriving at the office with a big SMILE, spreading the news on our social media and discovering all the Linkedin posts from the 250 Swilers sharing the news! They all rock!
9.15 — Trying to cool down before announcing the second news!
11.00 — OMG! Margo Bank just announced becoming Memo Bank, the first independent bank to offer payment, deposit, and financing solutions to SMEs since 50 years in France. And this is not it, they just raised 20 million euros.
11.30 — Spreading the good news on the social media again.
12.00 — Realizing that Jean Daniel Guyot and the team worked 3 years for this accomplishment!
Ok, stop. We don’t care about the rest of my day. #VC stuff
