Dapp Pocket is a blockchain wallet app born for Dapp and crypto lovers. It provides a secure and easy way to manage your crypto assets. With Dapp Pocket, you can convert ERC20 tokens from various platforms and interact with Dapps on your phone whenever and wherever you want.
What are Dapps?
Dapps, aka Decentralized apps, are applications powered by smart contracts on Blockchain. Thanks to their capability to move value around and record the ownership of crypto property, these applications can be applied extensively to many scenarios, such as games, finance and social media, etc.
Problems to Solve
We love to use Dapps, yet we are deeply aware of the inconvenience of interacting with them. Also, the challenging complexity of Blockchain ecosystem makes blockchain difficult to use and keeps newcomers away. Here are some of the issues we face as a Dapp lover and crypto currency “hodler”:
1. Dapps are not supported by mobile web browsers
Due to the nature of mobile web browsers, it seems impossible to use Dapps on a phone. Although there are plenty of crypto wallets on the market today, only few of them have built-in browsers for Dapp interaction.
2. Token conversion is inconvenient
There are plenty of DEXs(Decentralized Exchanges) to convert your tokens. Each DEX offers different tokens, deals and fees. Comparing prices and tokens from all the platforms could be exhausting.

- User’s private key is stored in the phone and will never be accessed by any 3rd party services, which makes it much safer than storing the key in exchange’s server. The private key also comes with a recovery phrase as a backup.

We are a group of engineers from Taiwan and most of our team share a background in computer science. During our graduate school in NTU, we came to become familiar with bitcoin and the technology behind. Knowing the potential of blockchain, we soon devoted ourselves into the research of this field and even started our careers in blockchain startups.
