How to Invite Event Attendees to Partner Networks on Dara

This article is part of a series meant to be a guide for successfully running Events, and is aimed at Organizers who are already Members of a Dara Partner, and want to run a Community-led Event. Events on Dara aren’t just a great way to get people with similar interests talking. They’re also a wonderful opportunity to expand your Partner Org’s Affiliates’ roster. When you send out links to your Dara Event outside the app, you can prompt potential Attendees to join the corresponding Partner’s ‘Friends Of’ Community. This can be done through the Community tab in the Create Event form. At the time of creating an Event posting, simply select a Community, and confirm that you would like to send out the prompt from the button that should have appeared below it.
