||For Admins and Event Organizers

This article will discuss the importance and technique of conducting Polls on Dara. To start off, Dara values equality a great deal, and that means everyone gets a say — whether you’re an Admin trying to direct your Community’s activities or an Event Organizer who wants to gauge attendee response, Polls are the way to do it. They are a simple way to figure out who wants what, or how successful something was.

Running a Poll on Dara is as simple as asking a question, providing participants options and asking them to respond with a certain emoji corresponding to each option.

Use Case: Dialog Storytelling: Art and Tech

Dara’s Partner BeFantastic conducted this Event in association with her other Partners Kcymaerxthaere, the British Council and Jaaga. A Poll was conducted in order to gauge audience interest in 1:1 Breakaway Sessions. Based on the response gathered, Dara’s team paired together the interested audience Members according to their professional backgrounds.

A further feedback Poll was sent to the 14 Members who participated in the 1:1 pairing, with 11 positive responses.

We hope this information helps you draw value from running Polls on Dara.
