Oh, the good old topic of a job search in the tech industry. So many things were said already while so many things were left unsaid. But I think there is one fact we all can agree on — the tech job market is insane. And intimidating.

Are you familiar with this framework? That framework? These 10 frameworks, 5 libraries, and two design systems?

Yeah, sure, all I do from sunrise to sunset is learn new JavaScript frameworks. It’s kind of like a hobby.

Our good old LinkedIn is full of great stories. Take this guy, for example. He actually created FastAPI but doesn’t have enough years of experience with FastAPI to qualify for this job. And if this were an exception, we could just laugh and forget, but the insane requirements are becoming the norm.

I don’t know about you, but I see it as a dangerous new trend. Nobody is looking for junior developers anymore, nobody is patient enough to explain and teach. Tech companies are now looking for people who can do it…
