After detailed discussion, careful steps, and having gained useful knowledge, A Challenge To Be Met project was finally closer to its goals. Our team implemented its plan: we launched our blog!

We thought that “Ethical Hive” is the most suitable title for our project, since it describes in a special way the content of our site: we collect in our own “hive” important information and practical methods for one to make more ethical choices in fashion. We want our content and our services to be for others as productive as a hive. The three women with raised hands in our logo symbolize the mass action.

Our first three articles focus in some basic topics:

· What Is Fast Fashion?

· What are the benefits of switching to second-hand clothes?

· Re-sellers: time for them to rethink what drove them towards the ethical community

During our preparation, at the time when we were building ground, our team had also took some interviews. The first interviewee was Helen Athanasiou, a citizen that supports fast fashion and is aware of their working and environmental background. The second interviewee was Christina Lazoura, owner of an ethical e-shop. Both interviewees were extremely important for our project, since we built productive discussions that led us to significant conclusions and decisions — they made us understand better their perspective and their wills, and this was a necessary step for us because we wanted to comprehend the different sides of people when it comes for fashion. Thus, we considered that these two interviews was also necessary for our readers, and so we included them in our blog.

So, what was our next step besides the informative articles?

Our next step was to implement our services. Thus, we created a page called “Thrift Store Guide”, that teaches you step by step how to create a thrift store in the platform of Instagram.

Spread the News!

But how will people get to know us? In order to spread the news of Ethical Hive, we also created an account on Instagram, that works more like a promotion tool for our blog, but besides that, we started to rich the account with more information about ethical and fast fashion.
