BeTheChange team- (Maria Mavridopoulou,Maggie Papadopoulou, Αλεξια Σταυροπουλου, pkarvounidou)an effort to break the standards of beauty, make women feel comfortable in their own skin, fight anorexia nervosa

Its time to hatch a plan to see how we will develop our idea and how people will know about what we want to do. We would’t be able to figure this out without the tips from OpenIDEO (www.openideo.com) We had to think ok ways to approach people and make them know about us and what we want to do, but most of all help women understand their value.

So we created a “User Experience Map” always under the guidance of openIDEO. We created “Suzana” (our User) a 20-year-old student who has self-assurance issues and though she is a girl with a normal size, she believes that she has to be skinnier. As a result she doesnt eat the way a young woman in her age should eat, causing herself health problems. Next we thought about ways that Suzana would hear about us, which is no other but Facebook, creating the Awareness.

After having created the awareness Suzana would take a look at our Facebook page, Zero is not a size (click to get to the page) where she can find many articles and motivational videos of fighting anorexia. After having cought her attention(Taking Notice)she would see our link posted for our blog (click to get there) where she could learn more about us and find more things that will help her change her way of thinking (Looking Further)

Finally after having read some articles and saw some videos she becomes concerned about what she puts her health through and decides to send us a message. (Contact) After having done some research about organisations that trades in eating desorders in Athens and found “Ανάσα”, we put them in touch and from now on the organisation takes over.(Therapy-Recovery-Life Change)
