Once again, we found ourselves in our favorite cafe, discussing about our next moves. We had our core information in our hands and we also had our challenge stated. What we had to do next is to, at least try, come up with a solution that would fit the problem we had spotted and the mission we had dared ourselves to execute.

After a lot of consideration and brainstorming we decided that what we see fit is forming our own environmental friendly Non Governmental Organization, that we of course called “Trident”.

Our vision was to better educate teens and students in general in order to strike the problem from its roots. Building a growing environmental friendly towards the ocean and seas education, and ideally change the school’s curriculum. We also thought of other alternatives such as being an informative group that would visit schools and provide interesting presentations, organize educational actions at beaches and coasts, and having our own website that our subscribers could upload anything interesting abou the sea and oceans while also getting informed about the latest news regarding Goal 14.

We also thought that would be helpful if our website had educational material such as articles written by professionals and readily available presentations that tutors could have access to in order to do a more interactive lesson with their students.

This was our vision, our starting point and our ideal views. We knew we had a lot of work to do in order to pull it through or at least fail trying.

But we knew for sure, we dared to challenged not only ourselves but the a whole community.
