Having deliberately thought about our final product and which platforms best suited to share our idea with the world, the Alone Together team was now ready to start creating. We concluded that an Instagram and Facebook account were necessary to promote “Employment Kit”, while our website would serve as a base, a platform where our podcast, called “In The Works”, and our interviews would be featured.

Firstly we created a plan about our content, the layout of the website, our differentiation across platforms, as well as the time and date of our postings, so as to be ready. This initial plan was revised as we went on, but it was an absolute necessity, since each member of the team was in charge of a different aspect and we all had to be on the same page.

Georgianna started creating and managing our website (you can check it out here), Angeliki our Facebook account, Despoina was in charge of our Instagram account, while Konstantina and I got familiar with podcast creation and production. After a short amount of time we had prepared a smoothly functioning web page, creative multimedia content for both of our social media, our podcast trailer, an interview and our first podcast with an amazing young guest. Everything was up and running! But the little changes here and there never stopped, because, above everything, our goal was to create something beautiful, useful and user friendly at the same time.

After our prototype was ready and tested by us and a small circle of acquaintances, we were finally ready for our last pitching. It’s safe to say we were beyond excited -and a little nervous- to share our idea with the rest of the Dare to Challenge team and Ms. Betty Tsakarestou and get some useful feedback. Our pitching entailed every aspect of our idea, from the target audience, to the competitors,to our desirable impact. We were given approval to move forward with our product and the feedback we received was really positive. The real test was to find out how our audience would react to “Employment Kit”.

We truly hoped that we could share with them the excitement and motivation we got by creating it!!!
