So after a lot of consideration we came to the conclusion that organizing a conference would serve our goal the best.

We decided to host a 2 day conference with our two wonderful guests Stephanos Mwange and Steve stivaktis. Here is our sneak peak on what you can expect to see if you attend:

It’s a conference where everyone is welcomed and it is interactive enough so many people will definitely enjoy!

It will contain a couple of guest speakers who will give speeches on their favorite subjects regarding the representation of minorities in media. These speeches will conclude, in some way, in a masterclass type of interaction with the audience. This will allow the speakers to teach something new to the participants.

We also reinforced our website and social media to help us achieve the right engagement with our audience or the people who share the same views and want to contribute to our goal.

On our site you’ll find information about the members of the team, the “Ghost Talks” show, and its current and upcoming guests, as well as recommendations for books, series and movies. We made it easy to navigate and to contact us for further details or information you may need!

We posted our progress to our instagram and made a calendar-like chain of posts documenting our achievements and our goals for the future. Last but not least we teased our trailers on tiktok where we got some exciting comments from our audience who were eager to see our projects.

To sum up everything that has been stated so far we wanted our final idea to be something interactive so people can really see that we are not just preaching about the lack of representation that there is in media, we are also involved and are trying to make an actual change from the base which is the audience. The audience has power over the media and often controls what is being produced. So that is our tiny contribution so far and we hope this tiny project of ours will make a not so tiny, rather big, impact in the future!
