REVOLEMON STORY — PART 4

Every start up team, may confront some obstacles in the beginning of their venture. Likewise, our team, named revolemon, faced between others, one difficulty, regarding the legal permission, as to make aesthetic changes to the neighborhoods. Putting our plan into action and proceeding to the next step, we made a contact with the municipality of Zografou, in pursuit of a way to actualize our project. At first, it seemed improbable to get the legal permission in time, but in the end, municipality was really helpful. In more details, three weeks after our request, we managed to make an appointment, in order to talk to the mayor and explain to her our vision, aiming simultaneously to a presumable collaboration. Throughout the meeting, we had analyzed our idea and our plan of action but kindly the prospect of collaboration or sponsorship was denied due to municipality’s workload and obligations for the month. Subsequently, we have been asked whether that field was familiar to us or we had a corresponding experience in the past, what our plan was, regarding the sustainability and lastly, how our project was going to be supported financially. Our answers to these questions, were that we are not familiar with this subject, we are thinking of ways and conversing with the residents about the sustainability plan and that we had been searching for sponsors, but unfortunately, we hadn’t receive back a response or a positive answer yet. However, the Mayor, was impressed by our willingness to do this, even by our own and so, she gave us the legal permission to make changes to a park next to a school.
