The reason behind the start up idea of our team( Danai Lyratzi, Charis Zarbalas, Asimina Christodoulatou, Christos Daniilidis, Frossini and me) called ‘’Safe ‘n Sound’’ and as we already have said it has to do with people’s need arriving safe to their destination.

At this stage of our project we would want to approach our customer and understand his needs.

So we prepared a questionnaire concerning the culture of rape. As we have mentiond before, most of people especially women and girls living in fear of rape.As a result, our sample to our questionnaire was 60 women which constitute our main client.

In this way we managed to make our user’s experience map in order to cover the user’s needs and be more friendly for him.

The public which is chosen for the questionnaire ranges to the public aged 16 to 30 and over possibly .In this point to note that worked and some separately questionnaires to the interview format.

Then, we cocnclude that the biggest part of our sample have the faintest idea about rape culture. After that of course we had a short discussion and given a brief definition.

The main purpose of course of this questionnaire was to come up with the whole experience of the user.Almost all women interviewed had something to say referring to incidents like strangers follow them to the streets or falling victim of “cat-calling”(verbal sexual harassment).

Not at all surprising was the fact that almost all of them feel or have once felt threaten or fear when were alone returning back home.

So after our research, we came up with the follow conclusions:

Firstly, the 70% of our respondents use to follow daily dangerous and dark routes.Secondly, our 90% of our interviewee sample have felt threatened which is an expected outcome. Then ,as i mentioned before, only the one in three women know about the “rape culture” and unanimously agreed to the existence of rape culture in Greece. Although, we realize with great pleasure that the hole sample would use the app, only the 30% would download the app if it was with payment. The 50% would feel safe enough to download the app without taking further actions. Four to five women would trust the use of red button. Fortunately , only 5% of our sample judge. negatively in the violation of personal data by the operation of findings user’s location.

To make a long story short, our questionnaire turned out helpful enough to focus to certain facts and specific issues. Our team, after studying this research, created the user’s experience map and has already quoted the related article.
