Years ago, I bought an SUV. I convinced myself that I needed a big car so I could go on more trips and that a big car would come in handy when I had to move house. I spent twenty grand to buy an SUV (a lot of money for me at the time), and just used it in the exact same way as my previous car. I didn’t go on more trips, and I didn’t move around a bunch of stuff…
