Every year, the first week of January serves as my sanctuary, a time to unwind, recharge, and reflect on the coming year. This year, I chose Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, a destination I had only dreamed about, and it exceeded my expectations.
The Beauty of Phu Quoc
Phu Quoc charmed me from the moment I stepped off the plane. The air smelled of salt and sunlight, and it carried whispers of adventure. My days began with sunrises that painted the sky in gradients of orange, pink, and gold, the kind that makes you stop and appreciate the beauty of beginnings.
The beaches were surreal: powdery white sand stretched endlessly, kissed by turquoise waters that sparkled in the midday sun. Each wave seemed to be telling a story, lapping at my feet with a rhythmic whisper that felt almost meditative. Long Beach became my favorite location, with the horizon appearing to blur the line between sea and sky.
