You have walked with me

Not in miles

But in every inch of my heart

That smiles

You have walked with me

Not in a terrain

But in the corridors of my mind

Where thoughts intertwine

You have walked with me

Not holding my hands

But guiding your steps

Beside mine

You have walked with me

Not telling stories of any kind

But sharing silence

Our souls aligned

You have walked with me

All this while

I can only be grateful

For every step of every mile
