What is Cyber Threat Intelligence?

CTI is the practice of gathering, analyzing, and utilizing external data regarding cyber threats to help organizations understand a specific threat or, more broadly, threats affecting their industry as well as new or emerging threats. When performed regularly, CTI enables security teams to make informed decisions related primarily to their technical controls, but in some cases, administrative and physical controls as well.
