In light of recent current events, we’re switching things up here on Dark Roast. Threat intelligence has become an increasingly important function of security programs, as it’s the key to helping narrow the scope of the threat landscape based on an organization's industry, partners, technological environment, and more.

In today’s technological world, new threats emerge every day and it’s impossible to keep up with them all. Leveraging threat intelligence is essential to identifying which threats are most likely to impact a given organization, enabling teams to defend their infrastructure more effectively and efficiently.

Considering that, the same applies to the current situation between Russia and Ukraine. For those who have offices in either of the two countries or neighboring countries, and those who have partnerships with organizations that operate out of those countries, there’s plenty of work to be done in preparation for potential cyberattacks, or the potential of being collateral damage to an attack on someone else.
